Time is a flying!

A new year already in full swing … where to start?!? Time is flying, I am sure I am not the only one who feels that way. I am no fan of New Year’s resolutions, but I simply hope to enjoy each day for what it is, for what it brings and to seek joy in the little things. And for now, after 4 years of draught, WOW, do I love the rain and seeing our Northern California hills finally turn into the rolling green hills I first fell in love with when I moved here!

New adventures await! I joined Instagram and am having fun uploading little daily joys. I am busy working on a few engagement rings (ahhhhhhh, so much fun to be part of new love), a fun pendant, awesome dangly-earrings as well as designing two pieces with a friend’s stones (sketch, sketch, sketching away).

(pic above featuring ring with a stunning Prehnite cabochon set in 18K gold I had the pleasure of making for my awesome sister-in-law)

Oh, and then there’s Valentine’s Day, just around the corner …

Could not resist and use our sweet Rooney-puppy (he’s an 11 month old mini Goldendoodle, in case you were wondering:) as a prop with my new found and tons of fun app called “Enlight” … Happy Valentine’s Day to you all, sweet friends!

And since Valentine’s Day wishes in my opinion must be accompanied by something sweet (other than the cute pic of our family dog, that is, ha, ha) … here two of my favorite things I like to make for my sweetheart (aka amazing husband and the love of my life for almost 17 years) come Valentine’s Day:

White Chocolate Martini

2.0 oz. Vodka

0.5 oz. Light Crème de Cacao

1.5 oz. Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

Traditional Chocolate Martini

2.0 oz. Vodka

0.5 oz. Light Crème de Cacao

0.75 oz. Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

0.75 oz. Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur

Serve in a nice cocktail glass, prior to pouring the drink, swivel the glass with some chocolate syrup and – ENJOY!
