I love, love, love and continue to love the process of first sitting down and talking about ideas, then sketching it out and adjusting it to the customer's liking, creating some 3D views of the piece (which helps with figuring out the amount of gold or platinum needed - helpful especially when prices on the precious metals market are so unpredictable) and then getting the piece created AND (my biggest pleasure every time) finally ... seeing them react to the finished piece.  My reward - the smiles on their faces as the ring goes on the finger or the necklace around the neck respectively.  No better feeling!

 

It all starts with some doodeling ... and ends not only with a one of a kind piece of jewelry, but also with friendship and - if you are the one giving - lots of love and happiness.
